When you suffer from migraines you see auras and vibrating patterns that pound inside your brain; well that’s what I see anyways. They don’t happen very often but when they do I try to distract myself by transforming my pain into beauty. This painting came about after one particularly nasty migraine. It had so many points and patterns it was challenging to try to create them in paint. If I close my eyes I can still see them. Thankfully I don’t feel them though!
