Flapdoodle is one of those words that makes me giggle, it’s fun to say and it has a certain rhythmic vibe to it. Used to describe all sorts of words that mean folly, hokeypokey, jazz, and silliness in general, I thought it was a perfect fit to use in the title of this piece. I’m not musically inclined but I do enjoy listening to a good bit of musical antics. While listening to one of my favorite local bands I could “see” the music floating around the room and, the energy as it wrapped itself around the band and wove through the crowd.
