Artist Statement

I paint with an intentional, whimsical narrative in an effort to recapture a lost sense of fun. I hope to share joy through my art. Working in a variety of mediums and techniques offers me the chance to challenge and improve my skills.

Retaining our imagination and sense of play helps us remember the amazing worlds we created from within the innocence of our childhood. Paintings are stories to be explored and shared.

Artists Bio

Eva Hunter is an award-winning artist based in the United States whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. She cites color and movement as being vital to her artistic practice. In addition, Hunter describes her work as attempting to “move beyond pain”, conveying joy, fantasy, beauty, and humor. Her distinctive style fuses abstraction with impressionism and realism. She most often creates with watercolors, oils, acrylics, pastels, and ink on canvas, paper, or synthetic board.
